Best Friends

Born on Sept. 19, 1938, and raised in San Angelo, she attended Texas Christian University and graduated from East Texas State University with a degree in education, later earning a master’s degree at Sul Ross University. She taught for 18 years and was always popular with her students. She was an accomplished artist and sculptor with artwork displayed in universities, private residences and parks, including the prestigious Benson Park in Loveland, Colo.
