Adopt-a-Garden

From late Spring to early Fall, a dedicated group of hard-working volunteers keep the flower gardens in Benson Sculpture Garden looking beautiful. Their work involves taking care of a designated garden area throughout the year. Work begins with a Planting Day in early June with Loveland High Plains Arts Council providing plants and tools for each volunteer to make their garden look lovely. Then we ask that they just keep their garden looking good throughout the summer. Their talented and dedicated efforts are a “work of art” in themselves!

Will you Adopt-a-Garden?
Many of our Gardeners have been Volunteering for years – they have their special garden that they gently care for. However, occasionally, we do have a garden that becomes available for a new adoptive gardener. If you love working with earth and plants and have a yearning to create a beautiful garden of your own, please let us know. Perhaps you too can play a role in helping continue the legacy of Benson Sculpture Garden. Please call us at 970-663-2940.

Can only commit a bit?
Join us for Planting Day – Saturday, June 3
We would love to have you join us at Benson Sculpture Garden for our Annual Planting Day. We could use more volunteers to help us get our gardens ready for our summer events: the Dedication of the new pieces and the Sculpture in the Park Show & Sale. It’s a fun day from 9 a.m. to noon. We’ll supply the tools and refreshments. Please call us at 970-663-2940 if you can join us or sign up at https://www.sculptureinthepark.org/volunteer. We’d love to see you!
