Maureen Scott has a BFA from the University of Denver. She did post graduate work at the School of the Art Institute in Chicago and attended a master carving workshop in Pietrasanta, Italy. For her, studying art is a life long pursuit. She has always studied the figure, as she finds it to be the most challenging form in nature. She has many pieces in private collections.
