Robert McDermott is married and the father of four. He holds a BS degree in Industrial Technology and an MBA. He spent much of his adult life working in corporate management. Though challenging and enjoyable, the time and opportunity to pursue a compelling interest in art was limited. That changed when he left the corporate world to pursue art studies, earning a BA and BFA degree. Among other awards, he recived the Prize for Bronzes at the North American Sculpture Exhibition. His work is in public and private collections.
