Scott is a multi medium artist who specializes in granite sculpture. His talents were professionally developed at the Denver Art Institute in his early twenties before he returned to South Dakota to work in his fathers monument business. This is where Scott found his niche talent in granite sculpting. In more recent years, Scott has transitioned his artistry to one-of-a-kind figures while working within the community to help develop a larger art presence within the city.
Scott has been involved in the development of the Yankton City Sculpture/River walk, which is a temporary, yearly collection of sculptures on display throughout the Riverside Park and downtown area. Scott has also been featured in the Sioux City, Iowa sculpture walk and has a permanent sculpture in the Loveland, Colorado Benson Park’s permanent collection.
